“ We were in town for a college softball tournament and I was asked to coordinate a family/player/coach dinner at the hotel (80). Leslie with Smithfield BBQ was absolutely wonderful to work with; offering great advice and was flexible with the menu. Can’t say enough about her customer service which was impeccable, going above and beyond to ensure the event went smoothly. She even helped me on her day off - true dedication. Delivery was right on time as promised. The food was excellent, delivered fresh and hot, and there was plenty of it! Parents, players and coaches raved about the food - it was delicious from the chicken tenders, pulled pork BBQ, Brunswick stew, potato salad, coleslaw, hush puppies and banana pudding and the sweet tea! I highly recommend if you’re in need of catering for 80, Smithfield’s BBQ in Knightsdale is the place. You will not be disappointed. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Leslie for her help - Couldn’t have done this without you! ”

We were greeted as we walked in the door by a friendly employee, Shirley, and she was very attentive to our order and very friendly and full of smiles. The food was fantastic. The portions are plenty and we each had some leftover to take home. Their fried chicken is different from other fast food restaurants. Their fried chicken is probably closer to what my grandma made when I was 10 years old super juicy, lots of pepper, and crunchy skin. The barbecue as well seasoned. I had coleslaw which was delicious and the french fries were piping hot. They were obviously just out of the fryer. All in all it was a fantastic dining experience. ”
